Rain Coast Dog Rescue is a powerhouse in the field of animal rescue and we are always at the ready when they need an air rescue.
On a cold but sunny January day in 2023, we took to the skies in C-GIOT from Victoria International Airport, stocked with supplies, crates, and medicine and flew north over the entirety of Vancouver Island, landing in Bella Bella on Campbell Island where we picked up three dogs who were in dire straits.
This was the condition of one of the dogs when we arrived on the scene. Ugh.
